Wow, just wow...
In the article: psychic predicts earthquake in Japan.............
I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict "an earthquake in Japan".
Seems a pretty safe bet!
If they are psychic, why don't they call me?
can't the "psychic" get reemed for giving false information?
Did he get an ice cream headache? Oh wait it probably was not a "trivial" psychic.

I hope they clean up, and the agencies are forced to apologize.
The article did not mention anything about a warrant, but I wonder what that conversation with the judge was like establishing probable cause.
This is the problem with breaking news and talking heads. You hear for days how the "bad guys" are this and that, but when it turns out they were all wrong......not a peep!
The Local news stations are screwed here They were broadcasting what had been found
E.G. rotting body parts mass graves etc.
Only problem was not a damn thing had been found, and they must have had 50 officers
on the ground from local LE, to Texas Rangers.
So somebody is getting a new Barn
We've got members here convinced Bigfoot is real...
Hah! The next thing you're going to tell me is that Santa Claus doesn't exist! The very idea!
I'm curious, was there a search warrant issued?
When 9-1-1 receives a call that seems credible, (heck, even slightly incredible), they and LE have an obligation to have check it out. Crazy.
I'm sure 9-1-1 centers all over the country would love to have a checkbox which they can mark as "Call not necessary to be checked out" and hang up on the caller.
Would certainly save a lot of work for everyone all around.
My question is whether or not the "psychic" represented her claims as "psychic visions" or not.
I wonder how much grief PDs and individual LEOs across the nation cause themselves by refusing to apologize for screw-ups?
I'll never forget the local LEO who caused a baby to be born on the side of a local highway - because he thought the woman wasn't really pregnant and the guy was speeding for no reason - even that officer wouldn't apologize. Although he was bounced from his job later.
ETA - I wonder if an apology might have made this situation go away?
And pray tell.......exactly what convinces you he's not, eh?
Be careful just what limb you climb out on, 'k?
I'm sort of two mind concerning this.
One says all information regarding mass murders simply has to be followed up on.....and that's the thing for me, there has to be a cracker jack investaagation into the facts of such a claim
the other says when a claim about a murder....mass or otherwise is made by anyone, there dang well better be some real/creditable/factual/easy to find evidence to back it up.
I don't believe someone's "psychic picture" can replace a warrant in any case, nor do I think most Departments will allow such a thing to take place. Have to admit that most officers I've worked with.....while perhaps a bit on the dim side at times, weren't quite that bad.
It sounds like the investigated once and I am ASSUMING that the couple allowed them to search around the first time and they found nothing. Why the second trip back with the whole calvary?
Prove it isn't.
Hairy, smelly thing that runs around naked in the woods?
If he were real, he'd be posting.
If he were real there's be:
Tons of greenie money in BF programs
Designated BF wilderness areas]
BF protection agency
BF people free zones
