Well I got one, for a decent price. Fired once by a acquaintance which he bought new last year (I was there the one and only time he shot it). Sold it to me almost brand new and in pristine condition for $480 and he threw in 2 boxes of factory UMC ammo. It is a -6 model with the stupid lock. I think it is a decent deal, but I remember used ones going for less than $400 a couple of years ago.

Pics to come if someone can tell me how to pull it off my iPhone.

At that price it would be hard to turn down; stupid lock and all.

Good deal. I had a 629 6 inch that I sold. I just never used it that much and ammo was high. Great gun though!

That's a good price for a like new 629 even with the lock.

Sweet! now go trade it and $100 for a no lock model. Or just remove the lock and plug the hole.

    Here's mine:

Open the pic on your iPhone, hit the arrow in the lower left corner, select email photo and email to yourself.

Wow! Those are some beautiful revolvers! Okay, been trying to use photobucket to upload photos, but it is not going through.

Bac, mine has that same hole below the front site. Does that serve a specific purpose?

Failsafe and trav, besides looks r there any functional differences between the classic vs non-classic 629?

Damnit bac, years later your carpet photos still have this amazing side effect of making me want whatever is sitting on aforementioned carpet...

Download it in the App Store. Just type it into the search bar. Its MUCH easier to use than trying to post on the regular site from a cell phone.

I use it all the time.
