I have a new unfired Glock 34 mos with a delta point optic. It was the first Glock I ever won in a match. Just have not had time to enjoy it.

it has a rare place of honor in the safe.

Congrats on your new tool. Just can’t like the front serrations.

I recently acquired a Gen4 model 34, and now have to decide what reflex to put on it. If I buy a set of factory plates, can I put "any" reflex on it? What about the new RomeoZero? Is there a "translator" for Glock MOS plates to various reflex sight models?

It’s hard to beat the DeltaPoint Pro for the money and warranty. I’d either go that way or get the SRO or RMR based on your intended use.

Your 34 will use MOS plates 01-04.

Is it an MOS version? If so, it should have came with plates. If not an MOS, the plates will not work.

I would recommend a full size optic for a G34. The RomeoZero is designed for subcompact pistols. Unless it will be focused on carry use then I’d recommend one of the larger sights like the DPP or SRO. Nothing beats the RMR for carry.

The Gen5s are nice. I get the best accuracy out of them but I don’t have red dots on any Gen3’s so it’s not a fair fight. Sub 2” 5 shot groups at 25 yards with range brass and coated lead bullets are common. I like the front serrations and the grip texture although I’ve moved on to grip tape for my USPSA pistols.

No Glock factory trigger is rated at 3.5# of course. Gen 5s with a minus connector are rated at 4.4#.

Hence why I said modded gamer Glocks are sweet. Lighter striker spring and safety plunger spring take it the rest of the way.

Yes, I find it odd the the never 3.5lb’ers have no issue with the 5.5 rating but are quick to point out the old 3.5 rating.

Okay... but I am a stocking Glock Armorer and the only plungers around here are in the bathroom. Glocks have naught - nor do they have strikers.

    We’ve got it SARDG.

Glock saying their striker is a firing pin makes it a firing pin but Glock saying their connector is 3.5lb does not make it a 3.5lb connector.

I just shot the G34 - That thing is awesome. It groups very well and tight. Love the longer sight radius and the low recoil from the size. I shoot it about as well as the M9A3.

I also put a few rounds thru the G19 and my APX Centurion.

I really think that if I can come across a G45, I will buy that and sell my APX. I like the Glock better

Totally fine! I like you and understand where you are coming from. People also understand what I was saying.

I spend more time shooting than debating semantics. :p

I was talking about a trigger that has a pull weight of 3.5 pounds on a gauge. Not in reference to any labels on any connectors.

Congrats! I picked a 34.5 in July. Really do like it. Mine is a little different than yours; no front serrations on mine. I really do like the =Gen 5's (17 and 45 models) but am glad my long slide has no front serrations.
