Looks like more ellipsis dots than words in the original post. But anyways, baby fat is cute for college girls but no further. And Charles Barkley should have put the role model thing to rest:

Drag racing isn't what is used to be. I stopped watching in 1996 shortly after Blain Johnson was killed.

Don't watch NHRA. But... used to. Never heard any complaints when the drivers weighted +200 lbs. and stood less than 6' tall, etc. Recon the rules are different when the driver is a woman... or the spectator is struggling with reality.

Erica Enders must be a role model. Honey Boo Boo looks like she paid attention or at least her handlers did.tom.:whistling:

Lets not forget how NHRA lets Harley Davidson outright CHEAT in the league they bought and paid for. Shameful. Its not about racing anymore. Its about a publicity stunt for the sponsors with the deepest pockets. Follow the money.

THAT photo is EE years ago, NOT TODAY.
I'll see if I can find a photo of me when I was 21......I was thinner too:supergrin:

My apologies to anyone who was offended by my post. I had just watched the qualifying, and Courtney's BLA,BLA,BLA hyped up interview got to me.

I should watch more often, because everyone "has the hardest working, best crew out here", and where else can I watch so many "bestest" crews in one spot?

Where have you been been, every televised sport is about marketing.

A woman that is in the normal BMI weight range (probably chunky baby fat ridden to you) is a much better role model than the anorexic celebrities they normally see.

Gone are the days of Sox and Martin vs Bill "Grumpy" Jenkins vs Dyno Don. Of course, lots of tracks have closed down. In the DC area, there used to be several quarter mile tracks. I think most have been closed, either due to housing development encroachment or outrageous Insurance costs. NHRA, like NASCAR, has gotten too controlled, too over exposed, and too over merchandised.
