If this worked, this was #8 for the season. Since him, I've shot 3 more does.
He was not the biggest but the best I could get before the end of the first part of the season.

Great buck, I can't wait. We only get to shoot one with a rifle. It's just a few days away.

He was shot with a PSE bow and carbon arrows at a whole long distance of approx. 8 yards.

I was hunting in a back yard of a house not far from work. Just got permission to hunt there. I've been watching 6 nice bucks running together all summer there. He's a middle of the road for the group.
Threw some bait out and climbed a tree with my Summit. A 6 pt. came out that I passed on. He came from behind me and right under my tree (I was up about 18 feet). He was about 8 yards when I hit him high on the right side at just about the last rib. The arrow went through both lungs going forward and lodged in the opposite shoulder. Ran about 30 yards and dropped. Scored just 100 and weighed 160 lbs.

Back from Ohio now and going after his big brother. ;)
He sports a much bigger head set and a couple more points.
