I just purchansed a Cz 452 LUX .22. I know they are extremely accurate for a .22 and I want to put it to the test. The budget for optics is no more than $150 including shipping. The optics have to be more powerful than a 3x9 and no bigger than a 4x12. I was strongly considering Pentax 4x12 for the price and reputation for the money. Bushnell is another possibility (4x12 Banner). The reason I am getting a little cheap is because I am getting married in 3 months.

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I've got a CZ 452 Trainer, which is very similar to your Lux.

I have a set of Leupold rings and a Leupold VX-1 2-7x rimfire scope on mine. It's a great set up because you can just turn two screws and you're back to iron sights.

I'm actually looking to sell the rings and the scope as a package. I know the scope doesn't fit your specs exactly, but send me a PM if you're interested or if I can help you out with what rings to buy, etc. Good luck.

The Mueller APV 4.5–14×40 AO is a good quality inexpensive scope within your price range which many shooters over on the rimfirecentral.com recommend. I have one on my CZ 453 Varmint .2LR.
