I'm thinking that spanking would cure that. Whatever that was.
sad and funny,but true.
I like it. I think that jobs are for the benefit of the employee not the company.
The problem I found with jobs is that they want you to get up early and spend most of your day there, 8 hours even.
Then they want you to do this day after day, until you have spent almost 5 days showing up, for a total of around 40 hours.
Now they have the audacity to expect you to work too.
They should just mail my paycheck to me and reduce their costs.
Yeah, sure. This will do it!
It's a number of factors. There simply isn't enough jobs to go around for everyone. It's really a numbers game and crapshoot. If there is a good paying job you're competing against others for that same job.
I will say before the recession it was a lot easier to apply and get a job. Heck before the recession hit I got a job by just walking in and asking about the job. I wasn't in business attire and the two managers talked to me and then told me to go home and fill the app out and a couple days later I was hired. No online BS applications to fill out or anything.
Now big corporations use programs like TALEO that take anywhere from 1-2 hours to do depending on if you have to take a test.
The last decent job I interviewed for had a 3 step interview process. The one before that same way. The job was close to $20 an hour. The two millennial girls who interviewed me were tacky. The one chewed on gum the entire interviewed and use phrases like "rockstar" and "superstar" to describe the job.
Then a week later about 2 hours before my 2nd interview they called me and said they had to "cancel" it because the hiring manager was out of town and the person hurried and hanged up.
I then went online and saw the job still listed but they lowered the pay from $20 to $15 an hour and upped the required experience for the job.
That's got to be a joke. No millennial would refer to them selves as a millennial.
Good lord I hope that was a joke....that level of stupidity is scary.
Okay - that was a joke. That was fake. That was made up.
The job market is like the housing market. Sometimes it is a buyers market, and sometimes it is a sellers market.
It's your choice which market to wait for, or to do the best for yourself when you need results.
Somewhere a liberal politician is going to go after the business owner in exchange for her vote.
I should be the one to spank her!
In my best valley girl voice; totally like, bummer
Steel Head is always looking for good strippers and hookers.
Did she say "baby murdering Gen Xers"?
nobody wants to hit it?

dingbat alert. (even if it is fake)
Hell no, actually that makes me to want to rethink my stance on immigration. Elf her
She wouldn't have me. I'm an older white male Gen Xer...
