I just bought a 17L from a co-worker for $200. The guy I purchased it from said he's shot about 500 rounds through it. The price seemed fair for a used pistol. Did I get a good deal?

LOL ! Thanks for the the replies. Currently California is holding the gun to make sure I cool down. ;Q Once I've put a few boxes through it I'll decide if I want to keep it. This is my first Glock though and I hear once you go polymer you never go back.

The 17L is fairly hard to find, so if you decide to get rid of it, expect to get at least 2-3x what you paid for it. Is your co-worker dumb, or did they just need cash or want to dump the gun?

He's from a country where private gun ownership is outlawed so I don't think it was a lack of intelligence as much as a lack of savy. He did end up buying a new gun-a titanium Smith in .357. Now if I could only get him to sell me that for $200;f
