I've ridden with a few Wingers who ride like that. I used to, but chilled out a bit. Any Gold Wing that doesn't have the floorboards ground to a near-knife-edge isn't being ridden anywhere near its capabilities.
Yellow Wolf has sold his FL home and is moving to SC. He will be filming riders running the gap (following them). His best time on the Wing is 12:05 so even the best of the sport bike riders are barely faster than him and he won't have much of a problem staying behind and keeping them in the frame.
My concern about that is the rider being filmed is probably going to feel pressured to ride beyond their skill level and he's going to be filming a lot of crashes.
