When I had my SAR1 I bought a 1,000 round case of it. It shot fine for me. But I do not have any idea how much it is selling for at the gun shows anymore.:dunno:

I've used it in my MAK 90 and my XCR with no problems at all. I believe it is considered one of the better Russian manufactured rounds and comer right from the Tula plant. I don't know about current prices.

I have shot Golden Tiger without issue in all of my AKs.
My observation is it's slightly hotter than the Wolf. POI is higher at 100 yards than Wolf which leads me to believe it has more muzzle velocity.

I bought a case a couple of years ago and have shot about half, zero misfires and it's accurate and clean to boot. I generally zero with it as it's more accurate than Wolf in my Arsenals.

Great ammo. Much better than Wolf, and I've never had problems with Wolf. 28 cents per round is not the best price out there though. It can be found for as little as 23 cents per round. The difference is $50 for a case of 1000 rounds.
