I'm keeping this one traditional. New grips, may change the sights but no Novaks or other new styles. Might put an arched MSH.

Nice Colt! Another .38 Super fan, here. It my favorite round to shoot and has a huge upside if you reload. I am able to get .357 Sig velocities (1,470-1,500 fps in 5" Ramped/Supported Kart barrel 1911) with 124g Speer Gold Dot HP's and VV N105 powder in my hand loads. Available factory loads are kind of weak compared to the full potential of the round, though. Here is what I have been carrying lately.....My Dave Helton prepped Colt S80. The Super is bad-***!!

I ran a couple of hundred through today. I had loaded up some 124 gr over some Power Pistol. I am just amazed, accurate, soft shooting. Now the PP did have some flash and they have a crack that is louder than a 45, but so sweet to shoot.

Why is this round not more popular?
