You have to be able to throw to be a QB in the NFL.. weird I know. The whole scramble left then right may work in college, but not the NFL.

So Tim Tebow, not good enough to make the roster at the position he specialized at, would be more likely to make the roster at a position he doesn't play? He would beat out the many talented players who already play the TE position, and the many more who didn't make the roster cuts?

Too bad. He always make a good story, and he seems like a genuine person.
In other news, Colts fans breathe a sigh of relief that Reggie Wayne will not make the Pat's roster.

Of all the statistics I saw thrown around, his rushing yards is what I liked. I don't know anything about him, but after seeing so many NFL quarterbacks who can't run, I would think one who could would be a puzzler to the defense.

when all you do well is run, it becomes predictable. He is also getting hit a lot more often.

I think God will smite the Eagles with a playoff run. The looked pretty solid in the preseason! They have 3 good QB's too. Tebow played OK when I saw him but Barkley was bested him and got the job as 3 string.

QB's who can run AND throw, like Russell Wilson, Colin Kaepernick, and 2012 RGIII, are indeed a serious problem for defenses.

QB's who can throw, like Andrew Luck, Peyton Manning, and Tom Brady are a serious problem for defenses.

QB's who can only run, like Tim Tebow, are not a serious problem for defenses.

QB's who can neither run nor throw, like Jay Cutler...

    ;)

Bummer! Who did that keep in the third slot. I assume Sanchez in #2. I thought Barkley did an outstanding job.
