God does not hate shrimp. He just didn't make them for his children to eat.

Some of my best friends are shrimp, but I wouldn't want my daughter to marry one.

It's their fault they could have made the choice to be fish.

Ooooo, that is a good point. Just like the Banana, the shrimp was created to fit right into my hand. It has the nice tail section to hold onto while I eat the rest of it. And he conveniently put all of the waste in an easy to see line down the back of the shrimp. But why would he design something that is so perfect for me, and then tell me not to eat it. He must be testing me. He really does work in mysterious ways.

From this interpretation of scripture, I can see a better picture of why you turned from God. I think that it is probable that the lies of men about God has turned you stomach. I fully understand why, if that is the case. I would assert that remain turned away from man and his lies, and turn back to God. Peace to you.

Don't know. You'd have to ask him.

The bible, in general, or, more specifically, this passage, is either the literal word of god or it's not. :dunno:

    I'm not Jewish. I'm Messianic.
Certain things just weren't created for us to eat. When you eat shrimp you are eating whatever they just ate. Literally. If you like decaying, bacteria ridden, refuse from the floor of the ocean, then go for it.

Likewise, pig has up to 19 different parasites, many of which cannot be killed by cooking, even when charred to a black cinder. It is recently believed to be a contributing factor to Alzheimers and arthritis. They have veins running to their hoofs who's only purpose is to drain the toxins from their bodies. If these clog the pig will break out in green boils and die. Eat 'em up.

He gave us an instruction book. He won't make you use it.

    Ahh, another literalist fundamentalist atheist.
This seems common among the atheist group.

You all keep claiming it's the literal word of God. Make up your mind. Either it is or it isn't. It's that simple. Please advise.

So far as I can remember, there is not one word in the Gospels in praise of intelligence.

As far as the editing some of the features aren't working for me, either.
