    11%ABV? I think that's enough for tonight.

Anyone else a fan of the Belgian dubbel, tripel or quadrupel style beers? I'm a huge fan and noticed this (Urthel Samaranth for anyone who's interested) in my local market.

I'm a beer snob. Belgians are far and away my favorite. Duvel, Chimay, even a Stella if I'm slummin'.

I had an Austrian beer the other day called Samichlaus, and that was 14% abv. It's also only brewed on one day a year, so it's hard to find. $10/bottle

I love me quads. To me, it's a good contrast to the highly bitter American big beers.

I loves me some IPAs and D/I IPAs, but sometimes you just need a hops break, am I right? There's a couple of bottles of Stone Ruination hidden back there in the fridge for when I'm ready ;) Speak of the devil.... Have you ever had Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA? Averages between 19-21%AVB depending on the year. The local distributor doesn't order is, so I only get it on my trips to NY. It's like hop syrup!

@Mikey444 There's a couple kinds of Samichlaus at the store (one black label, one red) I'll take a look at them next time I'm there!

I'm in New England, so I have had Dogfish Head 120 IPA It's certainly a sipping beer. I like their World Wide Stout, too. Heck, who am I kidding, I like just about all Dogfish Head beers. It's one hell of a brewery.

Tonight I've had one Sierra Nevada Bigfoot barley wine:

And one Bear Republic Racer 5 IPA:

I have to work tomorrow, so that'll probably be it for the night.

I'm a big fan of most all of Sierra Nevada's beers. My fridge is loaded with Torpedo and 2010 Bigfoot at the moment!

My big thing right now though is I've decided at the beginning of the year to try a new beer every night this semester, so finding new singles is my focus now. Paulaner Salvator and Fuller's ESB are on the menu tonight (I've missed a day).

I'm always taking several DFH beers home with me when I'm up that way. I think I'm due to smuggle some back with me in my checked baggage on the way back from visiting the GFs parents near Rochester.
