WOW, why you picking on me?

I just want 1 UL match under 40. Last year I had 3 chances and dropped the ball all 3 times.

Also want to keep the Stockmeister scores in the 40's a little more often.

Tom, nothing personal, but i'm sure you are tired of winning all those pistols, so some added motivation won't hurt ya!!!
I'll bet you can break into the 30's in UL and Stockmiester!!

I have to agree with Don:
1) Have Fun.
2) One "A" class win in Am-Civ.
Plus:
3) shoot 5 to Glock clean.
4) Shoot for team SideArmor

I was going to say "break 80," but after seeing Fireglock's goal, I'll make it:
5) Break 75.

1st Year Review...
  • For Richmond last year I borrowed a buddy's G17 and shot with a sense of urgency that might as well have shot me in the foot, cause I certainly wasn't hitting the paper; 553.62 (152/156).
  • Then was Waldorf...Using another friend's G27 I found some patience, but absolutely no rhythm; 332.29 (113/136)
  • I finally broke down and bought a G23 before the Statesville Match. It also appeared that I was mastering that thing they call patience, and caught a glimpse of the rhythm I saw so many other shooters enjoying; 234.33 (94/152).
Well this brings me to this year:
  1. I want to have as much fun at every match as I did last year!
  2. Realisticly I want to break at least 200 if not 175.
  3. A little more ambitiously I want to shoot A Class!
  4. Lastly I can't wait to put some faces to these names/handles I see everyday.
    [/list=1]
Richmond will be the first step!

1. win a glock in either Am civ "A" or competition class. Closest to date was Hallsville 9th am civ and 6th comp.
2. plate scores under 16-17 seconds. best so far 20.24 KY am civ
3. consitency.
4. practice every friday night.
5. no stupid mistakes like having to do a speed load because I used a stripper mag for a string. I was impressed how smooth I did it under stress though. :)

Michael;
I understand item #4 it would be a great honor to shoot with them. Of the 4 original Florida Bunch team 2 are shooting with them in the Stockmeister class.
Sorry I can't make Richmond this year, since I have not retired yet but I am correcting that problem as of 1 Oct. 2002, so maybe next year. I do plan on making: Statesville,Conyers,Anderson,Lexington,Shreveport and Jacksonville. That is based on the last schedule I saw dated 20 Feb.
Untill then I am shooting some IDPA and Steel matches locally along with my regular practice to keep improving.
Good Luck.

1) To practice more than once a week( had to cut down do to certain priorities)
2) Read my Shooting tips from the pros until I've memorized it line for line
3) Be an "A" shooter consistantly
4) Goal matches are: Richmond, Statesville, Conyers, Anderson, Jacksonville, and I'll shoot IDPA, I've shot one last month and can get in8 or 9 more

Well I am amidst mentors, I would like to shoot 120.0 this year and attend 4 matches....I have a little setback though, I get to receive a new hip in April and hope to be able to stand with both legs for the first time in 8 years at the Indy match. ;f
