I was near a large local gun shop called Fin Feather Fur in northeast Ohio...
Didn’t need anything, but I thought I would stop by.
They opened at 12 noon, and it was 1:30 when I got there.
Store occupancy is limited. Not sure how many, but it is a very large store, so probably quite a few.
There were at least twenty people waiting outside, six feet apart...in the 85 degree heat...
    No thanks.

It is a good place. Good selection of ammo, though most of it is full msrp. They do have some sales.
Last year, they were selling 25rd boxes of Estate brand 00 Buck for $10...

I hate to be the grammar police (actually, I'll sleep better tonight having spoken up), but that meme is all kinds of screwed up.

Thou is nominative, when it needs a possessive form. And, Thou is singular, but "brethren" implies he's speaking to a group.

If you only want one mistake, you could say "Ye [plural] tale is...", which would still be wrong since it remains nominative.

Or you could go with "Thy tale is..." which would be properly possessive, but still the wrong number.

Humorously (to ancient grammar nerds), the correct archaic form of the word to fit that sentence, doesn't sound old timey at all and would, therefore, still ruin the meme. The correct possessive plural form for that sentence is "Your tale is bracing, brethren."

But then it still doesn't make sense to speak to a group of males since only one person is actually telling the tale.

And, it doesn't need an ellipsis at the end. A period is needed.

The picture, however, is quite nice.

No problem. My head was about to explode and with no duct tape nearby, I had to go full-on grammar nerd for a moment there.

I feel better now and can go back to posting uninformed opinions on CoViD-19 and race relations in America.

    I'm glad you liked it.

Before I go, allow me to mention that you're going to want a comma between the words story and nerd, unless you are describing me as being cool rather than the story.

I used to love reading "Fur, Fish and Game" magazine until I found my older brothers secret stash of Playboys. Glad it didn't make me ghay or worse.

I'm so glad that invented rules like that don't get under my skin. Except when people say "I seen...". That one just reminds me of so many dumb people I've known.

Berea? I went there a few weeks ago. Wait in line, then as soon as you get in you have to fill out the paperwork to buy a gun. After filling out form 4473, you again wait for someone to escort you to a row of circles on the floor. You stand in your circle, and a salesman asks what you want, then gets it for you to look at. You are not allowed to look at the gun cases. The entire process was strange a. f.

Fin Feather Fur is my go-to place for fishing supplies, archery, knives, and simple gun service. Every once in a while they have decent sales: 22LR for 0.03/round; 9mm for 0.16/rd; and some optics as well (got a Vortex for $70 last year, a $80 discount). Their selection in fishing tackle & lures is quite good as well. Had the guys help tune my son's compound bow every year, cut arrows, etc. Gun counter guys quite knowledgeable, give me hints on cleaning suppressors, bore sighting my guns, etc. They now sell suppressors too.

Not a fan of their MSRP prices, but that's the nature of brick-and-mortar retail.

Nowadays with the COVID19 and riots, they have two lines at the store: one for gun purchases, and the other for all others. As of yesterday they were telling gun buyers the computers were backlogged and they couldn't run background checks. Not sure what that meant, but they ushered me right in 'cos I'm there quite often for fishing stuff.

I bought my Daniel Defense DDM4v7 there a few years ago: they had the best price, even with the FFL transfer fee on top of it.

ETA: my FFFur is the Boardman OH store.

I was at Fins earlier today. Place was busy, but no line outside. Guns were moving big time and it was to new buyers. 3 different women bought S&W Shield EZ 380's and one got it in 9mm. They came in by themselves looking to buy. The prices on Glocks went up about $70 from the last time I was there a week or so ago. 2 younger guys my age walked up and bought Gen 5 Glock 19's. I believe those were $630. I saw at least one Sig 365 sell. Oddly enough, they didn't raise the prices on those. Still $499. Plenty of ammo on the shelves. Not many AR's left, but at least they have them. A couple B&T's that will sit for a while. The APC9 was $2200
