Glock Tech does not make a MIC for the XD. They only make them for Glocks. I believe One Source Tactical makes a holster similar to the MIC for an XD and the S&W MP. Google One Source Tactical and you should find it.Looked on their website and could not find the MIC. Can you post a link or some pix for me? I'd like to get a better IWB for my XD9SC.
No I don't have any pics, but will try and get some posted later. Go to www.glocktech.com and they have a pretty good video of how the MIC looks and works which is done by the maker of the MIC.Do you have any pics of you wearing it to show how well it conceals?
I dont find it uncomfortable, a little "odd" because the pistol is not "in" something, but I will get used to it.I watched the videos on the MIC. It seems like a good concept, but uncomfortanle to carry a gun all day in that position.
I don't find it uncomfortable with my body type. Some others with more gut hanging over the belt may find it uncomfortable but for me it feels good and works well. I have used it while driving for 4 hours, standing, bending, jumping, running, just about anything I could think of movement wise and the gun stayed in one spot and was very comfortable. In my opinion it is more comfortable than a IWB kydex holster worn behind the hip on the strong side.I watched the videos on the MIC. Well I have a bit of gut overhang so I would find it uncomfortable.:whistling:I don't find it uncomfortable with my body type. Do you use the clip with it? Or does it do ok with just the mic?I don't find it uncomfortable with my body type.
I do not use the clip with mine. I am just using the MIC and a wilderness instructors belt and it stays in one position with all day movement. I think, as with any other holster, you need a good belt and it has to be tight enough to hold the gun in position when you tuck it into the waistband.Do you use the clip with it? A BIT of a gut overhang may be OK. I think if you have a lot of overhang the MIC may not be as comfortable and the overhang may want to push on the gun and push it out of your pants.Well I have a bit of gut overhang so I would find it uncomfortable.:whistling:
For the safe, they are fine. For replacing a holster, they're a big bag full of nope. Like a professional escort, they can get the job done, but there are better ways to handle your business.
If your plan is to carry to the kitchen, choose Mexican.
If your plan is to carry to the mailbox, use a MIC.
If your plan is to carry anywhere else, get a proper holster. Don't you deserve proper equipment? Dont you really deserve gear and methods better suited to real guns than to airsoft?
Do you have to try shooting yourself in the foot to know it's gonna hurt?Another opinion from someone that's never tried one!!! Must be a Democrat.

hikerpaddler nailed it. The MIC is a great toy, but it really shouldn't be considered by anyone serious about CCW.
