Curious as to who prefers the Glock brand steel sights versus other brands or styles? How have your sight held up to use? A G26 equipped with the steel sights is on my short wish list, rather then the polymer ones or any flavored night sights.

I went to aftermarket night sights on a G17 after a "boot" drill with the slide sheared off the rear sight at the base.

I have stock Glock steel rear sights on a few of my pistols. I actually like them. The front is either a non-night white dot sight (made by Trijicon and a duplicate of the stock plastic or steel front) or a Meprolight night front. The Trijicon non-night front has a bigger and brighter white dot than the plastic stock sight. The steel sights are quite durable and are visible in a wide range of lighting conditions--but they crap out when the light level drops to about where a tritium-powered sight would begin to glow noticeably.

The steel rear sight sheared off?
