Can any one tell me what the msrp for a g26 is? My local dealer has put a price of $700.00 on them.

    Thanks in advance

Holy Crap! There is no way I'd pay that for one. Around here it's about 5-550 for a new one. If you get night sites, it might go as high as 590, though not usually. He's trying to make a big profit on that thing, or it's made of gold.

I think the 2002 msrp is $641, but that with the base sights. If it's got night sights its over $700. Still, I'm talking retail here.

You should be able to get one with the base sights for $475 to $525 depending on your area, and add about $65-80 for night sights. Maybe less, it's been a while since I bought mine.

Another option of course is to find a friend with an FFL who will take delivery of one you order from a website. Even your gunshop will do this but he'll charge you $25 to $50 for the transfer. I wouldn't suggest this with many guns but I think you'll be ok with Glock. Just make sure you are certain its the G26 you want before you order, then follow the directions for the transfer.

Bought my G27 about six months ago for $500 and that included Pearce +1 extensions on the two magazines and also included a 5% tax.

Since I could almost get two for that price, I think its a little high. I paid 401 for my G26 with regular sites and installed a pair of meprolights myself.

Wow, thats a good price! Saw a couple of 26's and 27's with standard sights at a show this weekend for $459. The cheapest Glock I ever seen was about a month ago at show a dealer had a NIB 17 for $430. Wish I would have bought it now.

Dear God, $700? I paid $550 for mine after tax at a local police shop, and I was in a hurry so I didn't shop around as much as I could have.

I paid $520 for my Glock 27, $510 for my 23, both new, both at the same shop. I guess they don't price 'em by the ounce.
