Do you think Glock is reconsidering their decision to discontinue OD green pistols?
What else would be the explanation for this "limited run"?

Lipseys did a "limited run" before... sold like hotcakes on Mothers Day. I have one.

FWIW, the "new" OD is really FDE. The "old" OD was more greenish.

Was it a Gen. 4 run of OD or the Gen. 3?

Are you serious? I'm going to get a FDE gun when they advertised OD Green?
I'm gonna start banging my head up against the wall now.

The pictures in the add were FDE as they showed Gen 4's and the reason. I suspect was because no Gen 4's had ever been produced in OD before and they wanted to depict them in color other than black.
Glock still uses the OD color on their field knifes, which I recently picked up. The good news is current field knife OD matches my 2005 G 22 OD. SJ 40

I ordered a G19 Gen3 OD Green as advertised. If I receive something different, I'll be returning it.

When they announced the discontinuation, they supposedly also announced that they would be willing to make limited runs of pistols for anyone ordering a minimum of X pistols. I don't remember what X was reported to be, but it was a quantity that could only be met by a distributor, or very large agency or dealer.

Thanks. So we continually see these "runs" throughout the indefinite future?
Making the OD Green less rare. Less of a future collector's item?

I was hoping that this was a test run since I missed out on a OD 19.

OD Green is not a rare pistol, they are just less plentiful than black Glocks.

This is from the recent Glockmeister run? That seems to be a little quick to have received them already.

    Pics please

Suspect they could be from the recent run of FDE,which isn't close to OD. SJ 40

And when OD Green Glocks were for sale by Glock they didn't sell very well. Once they announced they were discontinued you could not find any.
