Glocks are soooooo addictive!!!!

My addiction started when I got a POS Taurus 24/7 Pro Compact 9mm :crying: actually it started out as a great CCW (my very 1st I might add) but a couple of months later light primer strikes and misfires eneded that love affair.... and I'm sooooo glad it did!

Mind you, my 1st Glock was a G23 (great gun, took a while to get used to .40cal considering I was a new shooter). Then next came a G26 for extra concealability. Then I got a G19, and felt pretty complete aka options for CCW and HD situations. I came up on a very lightly used G27 for like $365 at a gunshop and JUMPED ON IT!

2 weeks ago I got a HELLUVA DEAL on a 9moth old LNIB G30SF with trigicons already installed for $425! :wow: In 2 years I have grown from 0 glocks to now having 5! All I need now is a G32 barrel to have all the major US Calibers for Glocks covered. (9mm, .40 S&W, .45ACP) I'm not sold on .45GAP b/c of ammo availibility. In my mind its still a "wildcat" caliber. I understand other people absolutely love it, but it makes me say, "meh"....

Its craaaaaazy to think how quickly they multiply... I guess I'm accumulating a "gaggle" of Glocks! lol :tongueout:

No telling what models I'll end up with before 2011 is over, but I can say probably (in no particular order): G21sf, G34 or G17 (both longer sight radius.. Not sure which I want, G35.

I haven't taken the Gen4 plunge yet.. If I do.. my 1st Gen 4 will probably be G21 when it comes out! I guess on to AR's next as far as firearms are concerned....

I hear ya Rick... all off my Glocks sport Meprolights or Trijs... Well except for my G23.. TFOs... Love em!!
i went from 0 to just getting my 3rd in about 2 years time and am already looking for my next one. i have a 23, 26, and 29 all third gens. i hear you about the gaps. i want to get one of every model so i might just have to get the gaps. at least the are cheap since there isnt much demand for them.
i recently bought my first glock, g23. and after the holidays, i'm thinking of picking another glock up. maybe a 19,26 or 27.
Hey Mac.. are you thinking about the G26/27 in Gen4?
Hey Nick.. I think Bud's or somewhere they are selling G38's for the low-low bruh???
Im the same way. I bought my first G19 in 08 and just bought a OD 26 yestrday and now I have 5. I dont think there is a cure :
G19
G26
G22 DPD trade in
G23 RTF2
G26 OD

and I love them ALL!! I like that you have nite sights on all of yours. How do you like the Trijicons?

Get a 26, you wont ever look back.!!
TJ.. Honestly, the Tru Glo TFO's are my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!! They glow EXREMELY BRIGHT in the day b/c of the fiberoptics. Their tritium is good as well. However, I did experience what other glockers have via the fiberoptic/tritium vials shifted some. I took them back to the dealer I bought them from and they snugged them up with some locktite or superglue. Haven't had any slippage since. The Meprolights (Glock OEM nightsights) are bright as well. The Trijicons are equally bright as the Meps. The biggest difference I noticed is that the Trijicons is that the front sight's tritium window is bigger than the rear ones. I guess this is due to the fact FRONTSIGHT... PRESS is what you are supposed to be focusing on... IMO, I think that's the only difference. The only reason I have trijicons on 2 of my Glocks is due to the fact the store I frequent puts them on glocks for $75 installed if the model you want doesn't have them on there from the factory. I believe they sell others i.e. Meps, Ameriglo, Tru Glo, etc, but they promote the Trijicons since they install them for that price in a few mins while you wait.....

It's hard to consider the GAP a wildcat when 5 State Police Agencies (NY, PA, GA, SC & FL) issue the G37 as well as numerous local law enforcement agencies. I've owned a G37 since September 2003 and have always been able to find reasonably priced factory ammo online.
Ah.. the Great Danny R is in tha HOUSE!!! I hear ya bro... I just feel like here where I am NE Alabama.. U hardly ever even see target ammo let alone JHPs.... To me its not worth it.... .357 siggy rounds can be had here eventhough they're more expensive.. They are at least available. I would LOVE TO SEE .45 Gap take off and become widely available, but until then.. I'll pass... I'm not so caliber myopic b/c I own: .38spcl, 9mm, .40, .45 and don't feel undergunned by either (well the .38 is more of a house gun why leave the house with less capacity even if you carry a G26 u have esentially 2 revolvers and I carry mine with a +2 Glock OEM baseplate) I might get a GAP pistol someday.. but its pretty loooooow on the wishlist right now.
You have to shoot a G37/G38/G39 to really appreciate it.
Hey Danny... Have your GAP models replaced your love for .45 ACP? or do you feel that .45GAP satisfies a certain niche? The capacity is another reason I've shied away from those particular model... Maybe I'll be lucky enough to shoot one someday... Never seen one except in a guncase.
Yes they are!
GAP IS a niche caliber, plain and simple. It will be interesting to see how the Gen 4 ACPs compete with the GAP models.

BINGO! Call me a GAP-aid drinker, but I think there's something to be said for the platform you shoot the best.
Glock definitely manufactures FANTASTIC weapons!
Same here, bought all 4 of my glocks withing a month of returning from overseas. I think my next one will be the gen 4 26 if my ccw permit gets approved.

Confirmed by the fact that no other gun manufacture chambers for it anymore.
