Hi, I recently ordered from Glockmeister the "stock commpetition trigger kit". When I ordered it over the phone, I was told it should be legal for GSSF stock pistol as all the parts are glock made. But now that I'm looking at it, I see the trigger has a smooth face, unlike the my stock trigger.

I just want to double check, is this trigger kit legal for GSSF stock class?

    Thanks,
    Rob

Many Glock models come with smooth face triggers...can't say about the rest of the setup.

    the rules are at www.gssfonline.com

if it's all glock parts it ought to be GSSF legal

I use a smooth faced G17 trigger in my G19 and it's legal.

Okay...I'll bite...what's the trigger pull, have you put a scale to it? And I do not mean to steal the thread what about Dale Rhea's trigger kit or R&S' kit???

I don't have a scale to measure it, but I put it in last night and it is noticably lighter (and smoother). I think it is supposed to be 3.5 lbs, and I believe it. It's not super light, and that's fine with me because this is not a "competition-only" gun for me.

The installation was a snap, just dropped right in. I'm very happy with it.

The reason I asked is I'm playing around with triggers and after the 3.5# connector and polishing it and all the other components and a reduced striker spring I'm about 3.3# according to a Lyman digital scale...I believe Mr. Rhea's kit suggests 2.0# on GSSF legal kit's and I've not quite read everything yet on the R.S. trigget kit as of yet. I do find myself surpised often when the trigger breaks.
