Don't want to start a war, just a debate. Is one more accurate then the other, and if so why do you think that.

I shoot the G21, G30, and the G36 about the same. The .45acp is an inherently accurate round in itself.
The 30 is the most accurate Glock I have ever shot..IMHO
Bowtie why do you think that is? Just curious of your thoughts ( frame.....ect)

I really wish I knew..My 30 and 21 have both been fired from a ransom rest and the 30 held tighter groups..I love shooting my 19 but I still get tighter groups from the 30, that could just be me..Alot of folks feel the same way about the 30..My buddies 36 now that it actually works just doesnt feel right to me. Some claim the 36 has more felt recoil but thats total BS.
I have both and my 30 is the most accurate stock Glock that I have.
They are both very accurate but i have read many times people having better accuracy with the 30.
I have been told that it is from the octagonal barreling vs. the hexagonal profiling of the other glock barrels. But I'm not sure my G27 is just as accurate as my G22, sometimes I feel that it is more accurate. I have been told a theory on that too.

Even from a rest, I still have a hard time making a "which is better" determination between any of my Glocks. Different Glocks prefer different ammo for best accuracy, and changing ammo will change which of my Glocks is more accurate.I could say that my G36 is more accurate than my 21 or the reverse, depending on what ammunition I am shooting. No one can really say one is more accurate than the other without specifying with which ammunition. Even then, changing the ammunition and retesting will often reverse the result. To make matters more confusing, different Glocks, even though the same model, will shoot differently with the exact same ammunition. You can't really compare models or brands for accuracy. You can compare specific pistols with specific ammunition for a specific shooter.
I have only put about 90-100 rds through my G30 but i love how well it fires. Although i don't like the stock sights. I keep pretty tigh groups even at 25 yds. Im just as accurate with my G22 but i have had a butt load more practice with the .40

The only thing that matters is which one is more accurate for you..A rest does no good because you wont be defending yourself using a rest. For me, regardless of what ammo I use, my 30 is the most accurate Glock for me..
I have both, and I think the inherent accuracy of both is about equal. Perhaps the additional weight and girth of the 30 lends itself to the shooter's being more accurate with it. If so, it is nominal.
I am also more accurate with the 30(sf) than with any of my other handguns(Glocks or otherwise). First time I shot my first 30 I was actually shocked at how accurate it was and how easy follow up shots came.

Hehe, well, maybe the only thing that matters to you.

I like my pistols to shoot well over a bed or dresser (rested), against a barricade (rested). Prone, sitting, kneeling, standing, either handed....

Maybe you need to add a little variety to your training regime? :tongueout:

Arent you the opperator? So regardless of where you are shooting from dont you want the gun thats most accurate for you? It would be nice if your pistols did shoot well in all those position but they dont shoot themselves. I meant a Ransom Rest.

Yeah, I know Bowtie, that's why I put the smilies in.
Point was, rest shooting is not just at the bench.

For me a G36 or G26 is easily more accurate than the boxy and unwieldly G30, but I can still hit a target with any of them. The G30 just make bigger groups for me.

Oh I hear ya..Bigger groups arent always a bad thing..Better chance of hitting something important..

Hehe.
Peace, brother.
Back at Ya Bro..
The G30 and G36 are first and foremost carried for self defense. Either will consistently place shots within a 2 inch circle at 15 yards. Enough said.
