    So Joe.

Is the $10 Pearce extension worth it? Helps with the control?

Is that G29 still very concealable?

Darn all of these questions in my head!!!!!

I actually never shot mine without the extension... it was the first thing I did when I got her home. But I certainly like the way it feels in my hand compared to without it.

I don't have a CCW so other then at home I haven't had much experience concealing it. I'd say yes though, the extension only adds about 3/8" to the front of the grip compared to the stock one

    duncan, my man - yes, that's a 10-rd mag.

    When carrying mine, it's actually a 10+1(in the chamber) set-up. IOW, 11-rds of no B.S., high-performance 10mm ammo stuffed in a compact kick-a** package.

By the way, the G29 is very concealable. For IWB carry, I use a SideArmor holster.

I also use Pearce's "pinky finger" extensions on the mag bottoms. They help a great deal for controllability during rapid fire.

    Enjoy your G29. :)

I had no problems shooting mine without the pearce grip extensions. But I do like it better with the grip extensions. They offer more control and a more solid grip.

I'm waiting for my IWB Tucker Cover-Up, so I'm carrying mine in a 5.11 pocket holster in my vest pocket right now. I've carried it with and without the grip extensions, and have to say they make no difference in how easy it is to conceal.

    Thanks guys.

I took a hiatus from GT for a while - new job and all.

    Started shooting more frequently.

Busted out the G20 last week and can't get enough of 10mm.

So tomorrow I pick up my LNIB G29.

Glad to be back agtman! Missed y'all. :hugs:

I agree. Especially true with the full power DT's.
A Pearce grip extension is the only non-glock part that I allow on my CCW pistol.

Thanks guys. Didn't even think people would notice.

I still popped into the Hunting forum for obvious reasons.

Can't wait to get that G29!!!!!!

I do CCW my G29. It is plenty concealable in an IWB holster. I use a Comp Tac Infidel holster. I would venture to say with the short grip of the G29 even with the Pearce extension, it conceals as easy if not easier than my Kimber Ultra Carry.
