I have a GLOCK 22. The origional ser # started with an "E" & the left rear frame rail broke off. GLOCK replaced the frame with a "G" ser # & now the same frame rail has broken off!! I use only factory ammo from the major manufacturers. Has anyone ever had 2 frame rails break off like this? Does GLOCK still have some frame problems?

That certainly sucks, and is news to me. I thought they were past all that garbage.

An armorer I know at another agency told me that one of their new G22's (replacing their 10-year old G22's, which they felt were becoming worn) suffered a broken L/Rear frame rail during some training. They discovered it when the pistol started to exhibit various puzzling malfunctions. It was a new F-series.

Sometimes small metal parts simply break.

I doubt you'd find many folks who have experienced it happening twice.

You and Murphy on a first name basis?

Do you play the Lotto, or whatever they have in your state? ;)

Call Glock and let them take care of it.

    Move on ...

Two years ago had to sell my G22. It was a new 3rd gen mod. Don't remember the ser# or series. But it was a year old at the time. Sold it to a friend for his daughter to compeat with, she is still using it with no problems. She runs 200-300 rounds a week, on a slow week.

Hey Steve!! I am not sure where you are from. That Location does not ring a bell with me.But it must be a ways north from your comment on my recent weather report. Mid 70's and Sunny tomorow!!
