All you can do is keep looking....I doubt anyone knows how many were imported (they're still being made but not normally imported).

There are early (Gen2) models with the proofs, and an *apparently* large batch of them (Gen3) was imported a few years ago, presumably to help fill the large demand that came along with the election of the current president.

You just have to look at each and every Glock 19 3rd gen and 2nd gen with lower 2 letter serial #'s, add that has pictures. They show up time to time on the usual internet sites but often don't have the markings listed in the title.

Some people will sell them KNOWING they are uniquly marked and will jack up the price.

One is for sale on a local board for $700 and the dude makes great hay about "try to find one like it"

I saw another that came with a Glock light and was posted on GB for $450, to that seller, either he was not greedy or simply saw it as what it was a Glock 19 and did not see any value or difference.

Which there isn't but..., of course I have 3 of them :whistling:

I do. (actually 5 total if you count my original 1988 gun and a 1989 gun I picked up later - both of those are low 2 letter 2nd gens)

I have three different prefixs too

LYXxxx, KTExxx and KUYxxx - I got one NIB when they first arrived and then picked up two more (lightly used ones) by and by

To me the eagles make them cool and unique.

Did the G17's ever come with the proof marks?

Yes, all the first generation guns were so marked, same with the first gen G17L's.

Just like the G19's the early 2nd gen 2 letter G17's also had such markings.

Sometime in 1990 and about halfway or so through the 2 letter prefix's Glock started proofing the guns in Georgia and the eagles went away. Thus models produced 1990 and on are marked in the US style (G20 and up)

Some early Glock 21SF's were so marked but I have never seen one in person.

The eagle marked 3rd gen G19's were a special run to fill the gap of the 2008-09 Obama scare. To my knowledge no other 3rd gen guns were ever so marked.

    Yes....all Glocks have it here.

I didn't pay extra for the proof marks, for having a "status thing" , but Glocks (and all other guns) are just a wee bit more expensive here....like double....

Mine was $1200..... (checked again...it's more like 1100 now: stronger $, weaker euro,....)

Mine's not. I can only afford 1, but it's not a status thing.
