I was just wondering. I have a G17 Gen 3. It is still under factory warranty. I plan on leaveing it stock. But if I got a wild hair and got an after market extractor, barrell, trigger system from LoneWolf etc. Does it void the warranty? Anyone had experience with this. Cars, etc. some modifications will void the warranty. Thanks.

Those aftermarket parts will not void your warranty. I don't know of any that would unless Glock determined a particular aftermarket part damaged your pistol.

Like skyboss_4evr said it wont void your warranty, but if you send it in for any work at all they will replace all your after market parts and will send it your Glock back to you with all your after market parts in a bag.

It's common for Glock to send aftermarket parts back but state in their warranty small print that they will not. Send aftermarket parts at your own risk.

The owner's manual says that the warranty is void if there's any evidence that you've been inside the gun.
Has happened many times before... they will stand behind their warranty if the problem appears to be a manufacturing issue or some other defect. Simply detail stripping will NOT void the warranty, way too many people have done that.

Don't take my word for this, pretty sure Butch and DannyR have both stated this previously... they're pretty much the "go to guys" for all things Glock around here.
