Hickok45's videos are all informative and/or entertaining, but that one is especially fun to watch. With so much ammo to shoot (donated by AmmoForSale.com), he is practically giddy with all the big, beautiful 230gr 45ACP bullets going down range. That's good stuff that any shooter can appreciate. You can tell that he obviously LOVES shooting the Glock 21 and appreciates the 13+1 capacity.

Apple & Oranges, as the 1911 is made by home many BRAND NAME, and Glock is only made by GLOCK.

You can buy a $399.00 NEW !911 from who, and some from other for $2,500.00 PLUS!!

That means theres something for everyone when it comes to 1911's

Now for those wanting a real high end Glock, theres nothing.

I only have a 1911 because it's a 1911. I don't really enjoying shooting it. It's accurate but not much fun for me.

That seems to be the exception, not the rule. Most people that own 1911s like shooting them more then their other guns.

Same here....After you carry a 1911 IWB, a Glock feels as thick as a 2X4.

    Different designs.

When Glock is around for 50 yrs the 1911 design will be how old and established?

The 1911 is a great pistol and John Browning was a genius, but I've become accustomed to high capacity. My 19 has 15 rounds capacity and with my backup 17+2 magazines...folks, we're talking about a lot of firepower!

I enjoy taking my 1911 out every once in a while and running a few rounds through it, but when that slide locks back after seven rounds, to me, that's an eye opener:shocked:

If I had my choice in battle with a M1 Garand and a M16, you know what my choice would be, right?

To me, it's all about firepower.

My Glock 21 came as high end as I need a pistol to be. It will shoot 2" groups on an average day, holds 13+1, and has never failed to fire, load, or eject any type of ammo I've fed it.
High end, and low end is nomenclature reserved for 1911's.
