Just a curious question. In terms of grip thickness and trigger reach, which pistol would be easier for a person (thinking wife with small hands) to handle? The Smith and Wesson M&P 9mm, the Springfield XD 9mm or the Glock 19

The women who compete on our team, including my wife, use both Glock 17 and M&P 9 with no issues (as do the men on the team).

My wife can shoot the Glock 17. However, the gun is all cocked at an angle. She has to do this in order to reach the trigger comfortably.

They say the gun should be aligned straight back into the hand aligned with your forearm.

Im curious as to which of the two mentioned pistols have the smaller grip?

I think the XDs trigger reach is shortest.

Agreed. The XD reach is shorter. Also have those grip inserts to modify if needed.
