I just installed a set of Trijicon Novak design night sights on my Glock 19.The sights are a lot narrower than the factory sights. The new sights were VERY tight fitting, and scrubbed the finish off of the inside of the dovetail.I touched up the dovetail with a permanent black marker, but it's a bit shiny. Is there an alternative way to do this??:(

Try some B Casey cold blue. Clean the area with alcohol. Apply several coats letting each coat fully dry and VIOLA!

I've never been able to get cold bluing to work on a Glock, due to the tenifer metal treatment. Might be worth a try, though.
