Anyone here using this light?
Was looking at it to use on my Glock 23 Gen 4.
I do !!!!
IMO - there are much better lights available
Look at the Streamlight TLR-1
Yeah...looks like it fits the gun well and will serve my purpose for night HD use.
Actually just sent my Glock light back because the battery cover broke. I would skip this light if i had to do it again and go for something with L.E.D bulb. This light gets extremely hot and has actually warped/melted the area surrounding the lightbulb. The only pro I can think of is the light is easy fast to put on and take off. Believe some of the other brands are fixed to the firearm. Hope this helps I'm still planning on using it, just wish I invested in something less hot , l.e.d and didn't eat batteries.
Thanks for sharing that important info!
Will look at some other light setups too.
What Brad said, the Glock at 60 lumens isn't very bright. SJ 40
but they will replace it for free
Yes. It is very bright, but it does not fit securely on a Gen 3 23. There is a latch that it is supposed to fit into on the gun. The light does not slide along the rail far enough to lock into the hole position on the gun. I would not buy it if you are using it in a holster.
just added a scond gtl-21 light /laser combo. fits great and easy to operate. sure there are other great options. to me it just fits /feels right.
When I see the Glock lights I think to myself. The 80s called and they want their light back.
I tried it and like the features and brightness of my TLR-2 in my signature much better.
Have a TLR-1 coming. Will see how well it works.
Thanks for the replies!
