The other day I put one of the round glock sticker on my truck bumper. My buddy said that is a good way to get your truck broke into. What do you all think? I hope this is right forum to ask this in. I usually have another gun in my truck to shoot coyotes or skunks with.

Just my opinion but I try not to advertise anything on my vehicles. Wether you're trying to deter thieves or vandals that disagree politically or professionally with you I just don't want to draw anyone's attention to myself, family or my vehicles.

I think it all depends on where you live. I live in Georgia near an Army post, and every other truck has a gun sticker, that and a NASCAR sticker. If you live in a Blue city, I wouldn't have one on my vehicle

I don't advertise my gun ownership; No hats, no stickers, no shirts.
I don't want to advise my liberal neighbors of my leanings.
I don't want to set up a sign in front of my house that says, "Break in and steal my arsenal."

I concur. I have a few fly fishing stickers only, nothing political or firearms related.

Never put a sticker on my vehicle for anything. I even remove the oil change reminder.

There's no up side to adorning your vehicle with any type of stickers.

All of the above is good advice in my opinion. I don't signal anything about my interests with vehicle stickers, especially about guns or politics.. Anti-Republican, anti-firearm vandals and thieves are always looking for clues.

I never put gun stickers on my vehicles for all of the reasons above.

Stickers on vehicles invite and attract attention.

You have no control over the type of attention they'll attract.

Glock paying you to advertise for them? If so, then keep it on; if not, take it off. Even if you don't get broken into by someone hoping to find a Glock in the vehicle; do you want some anti-gun nutjob to key your truck?

Concealed means concealed ALL the way.

A little something about me. I bought a silver truck instead of bright red, mostly because I didn't want to attract any attention to it, or me. The same reason I don't ever put political stickers in the window or anywhere else. People today are crazy. And when I say "People" I mean Leftists. Sorry, but I call 'em like I see 'em.

People have lost their rational minds, if they even had them in the first place. They don't think twice about keying or otherwise vandalizing a vehicle or house or even assaulting a person, with whom they disagree politically (even shoot up a ball practice trying to kill as many as they can). Like it or not, guns and gun manufacturers are VERY political. And the mere presence of a Glock sticker, may very well be enough of a catalyst to set someone off.

I'm not saying you shouldn't do what you want to do, and if you want the sticker on your truck, more power to you. I hope nothing ever happens to your truck. I wouldn't personally do it, simply because I don't think it's anyone's business but mine. Problem is, if they see some kind of sticker they don't like, they will make it their business, and then you have to deal with them accordingly.

I don't advertise unless I'm getting paid. All else being equal if you were looking to break into a truck which would you chose the one with a Glock sticker or one without a Glock sticker?

+1 As Sean posted, there is simply no upside to indicating to the world what possessions you have or what beliefs you adhere to.
