Just wanted to see how many folks were using the Glock sport combat holster for OWB carry? I do not carry my G27 OWB that often, but when I do I use a Blackhawk Serpa holster. I would like a holster that rides a little closer to my body and this holster by Glock seems like it might do the trick.

I appreciate any comments on this holster!

I love mine. The gun sits high and tight against my body.

I started using one a few months ago. Wish I had tried one 20 years ago; would have saved myself a lot of money.

I have one that works well with my G23. Money well spent in my opinion.

I have one for my G19, and the mag carrier as well, and love it. I use it as much if not more than my Crossbreed Supertuck.

One question that I have wondered about though, has anyone had the beltloop portion break by catching on chairs, seatbelts or any other objects? Being plastic, I am wondering what the longevity will be before needing to buy a new one.

A good friend gave me one a couple months ago and been carrying my Glock 23 in it ever since. Much more comfortable than my White Hat IWB holster.

Never use mine for carry, but I do use it to hold the gun on the console in the vehicle.

Have one, cheap and they work, I ended up with a shoulder holster though.

I've been using mine for years with no problems, I have two of both sizes just because they are inexpensive.

I've tried many carry variations for my G27 (since '02) and have found that OWB wear with this holster has replaced my SERPA and even replaced my IWB wear in most circumstances.

    best buy for the bug.
have several of them cause they are cheap and do the job.

also have 5.11/bladetech/front line/BH CQC (without SERPA) and they are also great, but the better deal for the lower price is the glock sport/combat holster.

I used one for years and I love mine. I bought it on the recommendations from several GT users and I only intended for it to be a placeholder until I found THE holster. Well it turned out that I liked it so well I used it for carry and IDPA for about 3 years before finally finding another holster that I liked better. I went with a Raven Concealment Phantom modular holster and while it is a better holster made with better material it is also 5 times the price of the S/C holster. Every Glock owner should own at least 1 of those gems; brilliant holster no doubt about it.

read something that the OEM glock sport/combat holster for the .45ACP glocks also works for the 9mm glocks, just with less passive retension (better for competition perhaps, faster presentation of the gun), is that true, or will a 9mm glock fall free out of a .45ACP OEM glock sport/combat holster?
