Hey guys, I just got my package in from MidwayUSA. I order some Glock parts and a case of CCI Blazer's Brass 115gr ammo (1000 rounds) to shoot. Now, my Slide Stop Lever was under the 32 lb. case of ammo and shipped that way. I was wondering whether or not it is bent or broken since it was under all that pressure. Heres some pictures of it...

Please let me know if this is normal, I've never seen a Slide Stop Lever outside a Glock... thanks!

Take out the old one and compare them to one another.

Ohh, well scrap my advice then. I can't really tell from the pics, but I did just take off my slide and peek at the slide stop from above and it looks the same.

Looks fine to me. If you install it yourself, remember to wiggle the slide stop as you remove the trigger pin. When putting the new one in, make sure the locking block pin is in the gun, then slide the slide stop in making sure that the spring of the new slide stop is resting against the bottom of the locking block pin. Wiggle the trigger pin as you re-install it so that the hole in the slide stop lines up with the trigger pin.

    Don't force anything.

    Thanks :wavey:.

I never once said I owned a Glock, I only speak from experience because I shot them alot before. Get your facts straight before you post.

    Thanks for the advice! :wavey:
