I have a model 22 and was wondering if anyone noticied the free play in the slide. I read an article about tighting the slide but there has to be a better way then hitting it with a hammer and punch?? Has anyone sent in their glock to have the slide adjusted and what is the cost?? The other question is will having the slide tighten add to the accuratcy of the handgun to justify the cost??

There is no slide adjustment. Glocks are reliable because of those loose tolerances, which has no adverse effect on accuracy. Your sights are mounted on the slide, not the frame. Your barrel locks into the slide, not the frame, when in battery. If you need to improve the accuracy of your pistol, I suggest getting a fitted Bar-Sto barrel.
