I just bought a used G26, and the previous owner had used that silly day-glo sight paint on the factory sights. ;Q I would like to replace the factory fixed sights with a new set. Do I really need to buy a Glock sight tool to do this? (They are $85 on glockmeister BTW...sheesh!)

    Thanks in advance guys.

TopGlock has the MGW sight pusher for $60. You'll still need a front sight tool. $12 at brownells. What sights are you looking to install? Most sights can be installed with just a wooden dowl or a 1/2"x1/2" wooden block and a hammer. Just put it in a vice and tap the sight in.

The DawsonPrecision sights are the best drop in and come in target, fiber optic, and night sight flavor. They also come with all tools to install the sight, but don't use the aluminum sight punch. It'll mar your sights big time. Wooden dowl.

The Coeur d'Alene, Idaho GSSF match is July 19 & 20. The Glock Armorer there will replace them for you while you wait...and free.

And you can shoot the match while you're there (you'll love it!).
