I bought an MGW sight installation tool for Glock models. I have installed a set of Trijicons and XS Big Dots. The shape of the tool looks like it won't fit a set of Novaks that I am looking at ordering. Anyone have any experience installing Novak rear sights with the MGW sight tool?

Me too. 2 sets of novak's. They will be TIGHT--at least that was my experience with the 2 sets I installed.

There's 2 ways to deal with this: (of course always lube the dovetail slot well)

    1. Sand the base of the rear sight dovetail a little
    2. Install as is and use a cheater bar on the MGW

More on #2 above; I used a wrench extension on the handle of my MGW. I would crank in a bit, then back out a bit, then continue to crank in. Much like tapping a hole. FWIW, my last set of Heinie slant pros needed the same method. Probably the best idea is to do a combination of 1 & 2 above.

I just bought the same tool, and wanted to know the same for install on Glock 27. The Novak sights have a slant? I have the model for slanted sights.
