Have others just gotten their copies of The Glock Report and the 06 Annual, or have I just been found after having fallen through the cracks 14 months ago?

Both arrived yesterday, in the same envelope. Interesting but dated reading.

They were passing them out at INDY. I got one but gave it to my teammate.

I found it ironic that I just saw talk of Julie having left for S&W...and there's her picture on the back cover of the 06 annual.

Remember that was probably out for printing months ago. By her own admission she has taken the job with S&W.

My wife thumbed thru one at INDY, didn't keep it, heck I figured Glock couldn't afford to print them anymore since it has been 2 years since I got one. I should have grabbed one at INDY.

I got my Glock report in the mail the other day but no Annual. I guess I need to renew my membership for the Annual. But no problem, I picked up an Annual at the NRA Convention in Milwaukee last month.

Since I have not received my Glock Report Vol. 1 for 2006 and the one on the GSSF web site is still for 2005 can I assume there are no rule changes for the 2006 season? If there are any changes could someone please provide some insight what they are? :impatient: :notworthy:

Received the 2006 Glock Report Volume 1 today in the mail. It says to read carefully for the changes, but I haven't been through it yet.

One thing I did notice upon skimming through it was something about RO's getting one free match entry.

There is also a survey in the magazine asking for members feedback on GSSF, so hopefully many members take the time to do that.

I also noticed there is a new GSSF Director? Alan Ramsey (Or at least this is the first I've seen that name in GSSF material)

Reading through the rules I didn't catch anything different in the procedures, etc...

However I did find this section new and interesting... Indicating that change is in the future for GSSF..

170.05 GSSF plans to change and improve the divisional rules and associated prize distribution system so as to distribute across the entire spectrum of match entries rather than being division specific as is the present case. However, GSSF is not in a position to implement this change as of the beginning of the 2006-07 GSSF match season. If and when implemented later in the season these changes, and the match whereby they will take effect, will be announced on our website www.gssfonline.com. Until such time the following Divisional and associated rules from the 2005-06 match season will remain in effect.

Hmmm, that IS interesting. One might speculate that all non-master entries in all divisions might be thrown into a single pool for prizes awarded by random drawing...or not. The Big Question: will there be more, fewer or the same number of prizes awarded?

I got mine on Wednesday, both in the same envelop. I thought it was funny to read the new life member list. It had some of the staff of the GSSF as new Life Memebers. Interesting. It had a survey that was interesting as to what the GSSF members want. They stated the survey was online as well on GSSFonline.com, but I have yet to see it there. I'm definately going to fill it out and turn it in. :freak: :freak:
