I just got my G23 with a little custom work
the little toys like the ipsd setup and the 3.5 lb trigger assembly
    and stuff like that.
I however was talked out of getting the recoil buffer stating its dangerous.
    any reasons?
why is it dangerous if it still is for sale
    just wondering

It gets "chewed-up" in a hurry and can therefore cause recycling problems with the slide, possible disassembly problems too.

They are unneccesary and have been known to cause problems with reliability from short stroking the slide.
