i bought a conversion barrel for my G27. shoots great, loads of fun. accurate, not even one bobble, yet, even with the .40 S&W mags.
a bit of a concern. it seems quite a bit more snappy that the .40 S&W. will the xtra recoil and pressure cause any accelerated wear and tear on my beloved G27? the G27 is my primary carry piece and i wish it no harm.

It should cost you a small fortune in ammo to wear out a G-27 with 357 Sig ammo.I have a G-27 barrel for my G-33 but I use the G-33 barrel more often. What brand of barrel did you get that works so well?

i honestly do not know what brand itis. i bought it from an old friend who is a deputy sheriff and happens to be our mayor. he got it mail order and got the wrong barrel. he was wanting a barrel to convert a G23 to .357 sig. he gave me a very good deal on it. he thought i may want it before he went to the trouble of sending it back. i has no markings on it, but i would guess it was a federal.

do you live in wash. d.c.? i have heard it is in the works to legalize handguns there again. have you heard anything about it?
