I have the Glock Light/Laser combo but I imagine it is about the same as the stand alone light. I also have the Ledwave. Personally, I like the glock light better.

The Ledwave's switch is too easy to turn on and there is no way to turn-off the light short of removing the batteries. I had put mine into my range bag and it got bumped on, eventually melting the plastic lens cap.

    Just my observations.

Is there a reason why your not considering Streamlights M3 or a Surefire? Surefire is pretty expensive, but they are the best that I've used. Streamlights M3 is what my dept. issues. They have proven to be tough. You can get a M3 from Sports South Inc. for under 100 bucks.
Just a little food for thought. Good luck.

G37 with the new Streamlight TLR-1
This light is = to or better than surefire's X200 series and is less than half in cost at $115 shipped... I just got mine yesterday and WOW streamlight has surefire's # seriously. This light has a fantastic round beam with nice amount of side spill with only a slight donut hole that's barely noticeable. From some tests at another forum it stays in regulation almost 2 hours before it declines.

Intensely bright, virtually indestructible tactical light, attaches/detaches to almost any gun in seconds.

Powered by two 3-volt CR123A lithium batteries with 10-year storage life.
Shockproof 3-watt Luxeon LED with blinding beam (up to 80 lumens) with bright side-light - will not break or burn out!
    Up to 2.5 hour runtime.
Rail grip clamp system securely attaches/detaches quickly and safely with no tools and without putting your hands in front of the muzzle.
Fast, Adjustable, Secure Side mounting to 1913 and Glock style Rails.
Machined aluminum sealed construction with black anodized finish.
Waterproof to one meter for one hour, dustproof.
    Ambidextrous momemtary/steady on-off switch.
Highly accurate sight repeatability when remounting.
    Fits existing light bearing holsters.
    4.8 oz
