Its says that a Glock field knife is also a very good throwing knife.
What are the basic steps for throwing a knife(Glock 81 knife)? Ive gottin it to stick 3 times in a row, and it took me hours. And I have no consistency at all.

There are lots of cheap books out there that will help you in developing your throwing technique. We even had a thread or two about this a while back, I'll try and find the links.

Anyway, the key is to get a consistent rate of rotation. Mark off a distance and throw from the same spot each time. Study the blade as it flies through the air and learn your own rotations. Now move forward or back (or speed up or slow down your throw) to get the blade to stick. It's easier said than done but obviously the key is practice.

IME, small blades are easier to stick but large blades are easier to study and learn from. YMMV
