I just received a Form 1099-MISC from Glock, Inc for my 2002 GSSF winnings. Holy cow, I'm on the way to my bank for a homeowner's load to pay the taxes on this.
    ;)

But seriously, what are they valuing the pistol certificates at?

I think it should be their cost... maybe $75 a piece?

Try 400.00 each. Trust me. Mine isn't good either, but we could have the situation of nothing to claim. :) You did save your trip expenses didn't you? :)

Hope you never win a new Chevy. Taxes are not based on what it cost Detroit to make the vehicle, but are based on the showroom sticker, which is far more than you would have ever paid for the thing.;f
