Glock in .22LR

I've seen some posts concerning why Glock hasn't gone to a 22 Long Rifle pistol. I could be wrong, but wouldn't that take away from Glock being a combat pistol company.

Just like glock making pocket guns - why not? Making more diverse calibers and forms wouldn't change their operating model, just allow them to make more money. It wouldn't take them alot of research, they already have the market pinned for a reliable, simple weapon. Just use that same form in .22lr. Call it a "trainer".
I suggest you read The Gun Control Act of 1968. It places restrictions on imports. If Glock made a pistol any smaller than a G26, it could not be imported into the USA.
I'm looking into one of these
Solution:
AA Kits.
Same reason why they don't import the .380ACP G25 and G28. Not enough points to meet the GCA of 1968. The compacts barely make it, they have to add the "target trigger" unlike the full-size which have the smooth trigger.

I'm sure they would love to get in the market for the pocket autos. You can try your luck with a Diamonback380.

Find an Advantage Arms .22 upper if you want cheap plinking fun.

I think you are talking about a pocket pistol. When someone says .22 Glock, I think of a full size (even Gen 4) with a 22 slide and barrel like the AA kit or TSG kit.

I wouldn't buy a .22 pocket gun, but I would buy a Glock made, dedicated 22 that was the same size as my 17/22. I already own an AA kit, but I would like higher capacity mags and a heavier feel.

Maybe someone in my neck of the woods will buy a TSG and I can try it out.:dunno:
Are they making the frames here or not? If so, which ones. Made here would get around the import points, wouldn't it?
Tactical Solutions is releasing their conversion units in December. Just talked to them and they're ready to go. Much better company to deal with than AA.
My opinion based on being in many manufacturingf companies.

What ever pistol you want from glock plan on paying the same price range.

So if you want a 22lr plan on paying the $500 entry fee. Are you willing? It will cost them the same price to make a 22lr pistol as current ones -- or more if they go with a metal magazine. They may have decided we are not willing to pony up $500 for a glock 22lr when competitors are at 300 to 400.

Not at all.

There's quite a few "combat pistol companies" that offer a rimfire.
