Can someone please tell me if the glock gen 3 in OD green color is the same as black standard? Is there any differences?

Gen 3 used tennifer coating. The slide is the same, the polymer frame only differed in color.

I prefer Gen 3 to all the others, but that's a personal preference.

Is that true of new Gen 3s? I just got one myself and thought the tennifer days were gone based on what I'd read.

No difference but color of frames. I have 3 gen3 odgreen glocks in 40sw. A g23, g27and g35 . My other gen3 is a black frame g23. Slides ofall four are slick flying pan finish. I prefer gen3.

Tenifer was produced untill 2009 or early 2010 depending on the model.
