I have been having light strikes on the primer with my G42. Only started few weeks ago I have changed brands of ammo and stripped it all the way down and cleaned it well. Question is what is the factory pounds on the firing pin spring? I plan to order a new firing pin spring and would like to know the correct one to order......Thanks Leonard

Tony said the same spring from the 17 will work. Just swap them.

Are the strikes centered on the primer?

If not, maybe look up the recoil spring check procedure on YouTube. Basically, you want to make sure the gun is returning fully to battery. The RSA check will help confirm it.
