Would you mind sharing the serial number prefix? We don't need the entire serial number, just the 3 or 4 letters.

It *seems* all current C models are USA produced. Back after Glock announced the discontinuation of the C models there were reports of 3rd Gen USA Cs being sold at Cabela’s. I have verified that these are real and are out of production.

Note that there are also the factory CC models which have been discussed in other threads. I have a 17 CC.

Several CC models were listed on the, I think, 2001 or 2002 dealers price sheet. This is (lousey) photo of that price sheet from another thread on GT that I can't find.

I have a Gen 3 19C made in the USA with the prefix "ACDC" (which is half the reason I bought it).

The first Gen 17Ls weren't marked differently on the slides whether they were ported or not and have been faked so I'd want to call the factory for verification. They were labeled with a "P" on the sticker on the box, but that would be even easier to fake than the cuts. Has anyone seen (or own) one of these other than the DB or ED prefix?

Also, it's the same story with early Gen 2 24s that were ported (only marked on the label) but later ones were stamped "24C" on the slide even though they were ported rather than the standard compensation cuts. Butch posted pics in post #53 of this thread though the link has died now
    https://www.glocktalk.com/threads/c...-of-the-more-rare-glock-models.1454781/page-3

So, did Glock ever make any compensated G29s or G30s of ANY generation?
And crossing over to the frame variation thread from earlier: Were there any compensated RTF2G models made besides the 22 and 23? And were any made without gills?

Edited to add another note: I have a Gen 2 17L, non-ported, with Austrian proofs but there is a Gen 1 17LP currently listed on gunbroker: http://www.gunbroker.com/item/713046765
Checking the serial number research thread, this must have been the transition from Gen 1s to 2s. With my Gen 2 being number 268, that might add some clarity to how many Gen 1s are out there.

    Great thread.
    The Earliest G20C and G21C had the transition or 2.5 Frame. The G17C, G19C , G22C , and G23C had the Gen 2 Frame.
    In this picture are my Gen1 17LP, Gen 2 G22C, Gen 2.5 G20CC, and Gen 2.5 G21C.
The G20CC is probably my favorite second favorite shooter, next to my Gen 2 MPDC G19 which I EDC in a Raven Appendix Carry Rig. Hard to beat a Gen 2 G19 for All around great Glock!

Although there have been gems that turn up you would never expect, I am almost certain they did not make compensated versions of the Gen 2 G31 and Gen 2 G32.
The very first runs of Gen 2 G31 and G32 and Gen 2.5 33 are easy to identify, as the slide is marked .357 SIG.
