    I recently purchased a new Glock 23 with night sights. When it arrived I noticed the night sights were not Meps or Trij but were stamped on top " Glock " and " MH3 " also on the left side of the sights are marked " AE ". Could someone tell me about these Glock sights as in finish durability and life span of the tubes. What does the " AE " stand for ?

    MH3;
    Meprolight
    H3 = Tritium

    The "AE" is the date code for the warrantee(12yrs).

    Meps web site says up to 15yrs life span.

    AE would mean "04" or "2004" meaning the sights were put on in 2004, and are warranted from that point on, correct?
    cheers,
