I'm new to Glock Talk and have just purchased my first handgun - a G27 with Trijicon Night Sights.

As one of the posters here said "Glocks are addicting". I'm already in the market for a G23 and was wondering about the factory night sights.

Is the OEM for the Glock Factory Night Sights Meprolight?

The older Factory NS's were mepro's. I believe they now use Trijicons.

Trijicons are now the factory standard. Depending on upcharge, though, you may find it substantially cheaper to buy the gun w/o night sights, and have some installed yourself. I personally go this route whenever possible, since it seems to save a good chunk of change, part of which is the Fed excise tax of 11%. FYI, Trijicons can usually be found for less than $75, installation prices will of course vary, and you can even do it yourself if you're semi-competent.

Thank you for the info. I'm going to look into installing the Trijicons myself.
