Hey guys need some input here... I was at the range yesterday shooting my G26 which I have shot close to 1000 rounds out of without a failure with all types of ammo and yesterday I had some monarch steel case ammo I shot about 50 rounds thru opened a new box shot a couple which ejected correctly next round I pull the trigger **click** I eject the round reload it rack it bang next round bang then click again. It Happened once more I load a fresh mag of the same ammo and shot all 17 through. I load the previous mag again and shot all 10. I just wanted to know if this is something I should worry about I cleaned the gun everything looks in order. But three rounds not firing...

Primer problem, not gun. Sounds like you just got a bad batch.

Go shoot some good ammo and if it happens again, then you'll need to look at something else as the issue, but I can almost guarantee it won't happen again.

Try firing those rounds again. On cheap ammo, if the the primer is not fully seated, the first primer strike seats the primer in the pocket. If no other problems with the ammo, the second strike could fire the round.

It was the first time I purchased that Ammo since they had it $9 a box at academy I usually get independence aluminum 100rd box for 20 which is made by cci but decided to be an even cheaper ass and get that ammo. Won't be making that mistake again.

I did this when the round didn't fire... I chambered that round and it fired after being hit again and yes it was very cheap ammo. Avoid monarch steel case ammo unless you have a revolver hammer striking the round

I had a fail to fire once with a 17 I traded for. I did a detailed cleaning and found a bunch of oilt gunk around the firing pin. This area should be kept dry.

I dunno - Keep some around for those "Tap / Rack / Re-Assess" drills...

Even *super* cheap ammo has a purpose... :)

Lol if you want to jam your pistol buy monarch pretty much. Their steel case ammo is also impossible to remove from a revolver after being fired

Well, you just aren't lubing your ammo correctly it sounds like to me!
    LOL

Personally not a big fan of steel case unless it's in my AK47 magazines... :)
